Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were all confined to our homes, which made us indulge in food a lot more than usual. Now, with our diet all over the place, we needed something to get back on track. And here enters, KETO! The keto diet is very low in carbs and high in fats, which helps the body break down our fat and use it as energy.

With the recent popularity of air fryers, we decided to give you guys 3 different keto recipes, all cooked in an air fryer! So, here are the fun and delicious keto recipes to help you manage your food intake and get that healthy body that you desire!

1. Keto Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls

Who doesn’t love cinnamon rolls? Well, if you’re on your keto diet, you won’t have to boycott this delicious treat! Here’s how to make easy keto cinnamon rolls in an air fryer.

Ingredients:

For the dough

  • 1 egg
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup of almond flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sweetener (low-carb)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp xanthan gum

For the cinnamon butter

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 ½ tbsp softened butter
  • 2 ½ tbsp sweetener (low-carb)

For the icing

  • 1 ½ tbsp whipping cream
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp sweetener (low-carb)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Take a microwaveable bowl and mix the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese together in it. Keep heating the mixture in the microwave with 30-second intervals until the cheeses have melted and combined fully.
  2. In this mixture, add the almond flour, baking powder, sweetener, vanilla extract, and xanthan gum. Knead the dough properly. Then, add the egg and knead a little more until the dough becomes sticky.
  3. Now, take two plastic sheets and place the dough between them. Roll the dough out till it is about half a centimeter thick. Make sure to keep the shape of the dough square/rectangle.
  4. Take a bowl and add ground cinnamon and sweetener to it. Mix the two together then add softened butter to the mixture. Apply this mixture to one side of the flattened dough.
  5. Roll the dough carefully into a log-type shape.
  6. Use a thread or cutter, and cut the dough into 10 cinnamon roll pieces (you can keep the pieces thick and reduce the number too).
  7. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes.
  8. Line an air fryer-safe tray or basket with perforated parchment paper and place the rolls in it. Bake the air fryers for 5 minutes then flip them and bake for 5 more minutes till they are a lovely golden brown in color.
  9. Take a bowl and combine the cream cheese, whipping cream, vanilla extract, and sweetener.
  10. Apply this mixture to the cinnamon rolls when they’ve cooled down, and you’re done!

2. Keto Air Fryer Fish Sticks

Need something salty and filling? Keto air fryer fish sticks to the rescue!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb white fish (e.g. cod)
  • ½ cup pork rinds (crushed)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • Avocado or olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp dried dill

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
  2. Thaw the fish fillet, wash it gently, and pat it dry. Then, cut it into 3-inch sticks.
  3. Take a bowl and add the pork rind, pepper, salt, paprika, garlic powder, dill, and almond flour into it. Mix the seasonings around.
  4. Take another bowl and add the Dijon mustard, water, and mayonnaise to it. Whisk the three till well combined.
  5. Coat the fish pieces with the mayo-mustard mixture, then cover them with the almond flour and pork rind breading.
  6. Grease the air fryer basket with oil and add the breaded fish pieces to it. Spray some oil onto the pieces as well.
  7. Air fry the pieces for 5 minutes, then flip them and fry for another 5 minutes till you get a tender inside and crispy golden outside.

3. Keto Air Fryer Cheese Crackers

Do you need a light and fun snack for when you’re hungry but it’s not the time to eat? Here’s our easy recipe for keto air fryer cheese crackers!

Ingredients:

  • Any kind of cheese slices

Instructions:

  1. Take the cheese slices and cut them into squares or triangles, as you prefer.
  2. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and place these slices on it.
  3. Place the basket in the air fryer and air fry for 5 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Remove the basket from the air fryer once done and let the crackers cool before devouring them!
